Welsh Water are involved in major a tree-clearing exercise at the moment near Troserch Mill. Many years ago a large oak-tree fell across the river, diverting it, and gouging out a large area of land just below the mill. It would seem that the errant river, after having had its fun and is now being told in no uncertain terms to go back to its original course.
