As Owl boxes go this one really is 5 star accommodation and I shouldn't wonder, that now the box is up, there are owls from all over Carmarthenshire flying in for a viewing. We have also put up 2 other owl boxes (sadly, further down the star rating scale) and there is a small prize for the first person to locate all three before the end of May!
We have also carried out our first check of the nest-boxes this year but nest building, as with everything else this year, is very slow and we will try again in a fortnight.
